Basic Troubleshooting on the XiP Pro

 

Problem Possible Cause Corrective Action
No display appears on the touchscreen Poor power contact Check that the power cable is connected to an AC source
Vat does not engage Vat NFC tag is missing or corrupt Check placement of tag, replace if necessary (contact support)
Cannot start print Door is open Close door
Parts do not stick to the build plate Build plate is out of alignment, resulting in first layer adhesion issues Run the “Build Plate Alignment” process available under the “Maintenance” section.
Consult with a support tech.
Weak support structures Ensure the part is supported adequately especially if printing large cross sections.
Delamination Pin hole or torn membranes  - will likely result in triangular defects (non single-plane delamination) Inspect the membrane carefully with squeegee before prints. Replace if needed
Interlayer Delamination - caused by contaminants in resin

Filter in/out resin

Recommend using a filter grade 120-190um

Shake well before pouring back into system

Unexpected details on printed parts Dust particles gathered under membrane or over LCD could deflect/block UV light off during exposure and result in Consider replacing membrane or cleaning LCD screen with IPA and lint free cloth
GUI not showing Causes can be loose cable connections, or interrupted update leading to corrupt file system Contact support team
