XiP is equipped with an air filter in front of an intake fan to cool the light engine and keep debris away from it. The fan and air filter are located on the right side of the printer behind a removable cover panel.

Replace the air filter every 3-6 months depending on your air quality (potentially longer with the XiP AiR in use).

You will need:

• 3mm hex key provided with the printer
• Replacement air filter

1. Locate the removable fan cover panel on the right hand side of the printer and use the hex key to remove the 4 screws holding it in place
2. Remove the fan cover
3. Slide the used filter out of the frame on the back of the cover
4. Slide the new filter into the frame, replace the fan cover and attach with the 4 screws
